Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP Edition Launched; Price, Key Features

Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha has launched the new FZ25 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition in the Indian market. The new FZ25 MotoGP Edition is offered in limited numbers and is available at a price tag of Rs 1.37 lakh. The regular Yamaha FZ25 is priced at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

The top-spec Yamaha FZS 25 is available at Rs 1.40 lakh. The FZ25 MotoGP Edition comes with multiple visual upgrades, which makes it look different from the regular model. Yamaha MotoGP branding can be seen on the fuel tank, side panels and the signature tank shrouds. It features Monster Energy decals on the side panels and tank shrouds. These additions give it a sporty profile. The fuel tank has ENEOS logo.

The motorcycle retains all the features that are accessible in the regular FZ25 model. It gets LED Headlamps with LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), LCD instrument console, LED tail-lamp, side-stand engine cut off system, black colour alloys, disc brakes, split seats, etc. The motorcycle features telescopic forks at the front and monocross rear suspension.

The Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP Edition is powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel injected engine. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 20.5bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 20.1Nm at 6,000rpm. It is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.

Interested buyers can book the new MotoGP Edition of the Yamaha FZ25 online or via dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000. The motorcycle weighs 153kgs. It is positioned against the Bajaj Dominar 250, and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. It derives braking power from dual disc brakes further assisted by dual channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
