Volkswagen Taigun Interior Revealed – Creta Fighter

Volkswagen Taigun, the upcoming mid-size SUV from the German carmaker, was recently spotted in its near-production avatar in the country. While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, its twin-pot LED headlamps and halogen fog lamp assembly are visible.

Both units look similar to the concept, which was previewed a couple of days before the 2020 Auto Expo. The prototype features black alloy wheels, roof rails, LED taillamps and LED strip running across the tailgate.

Design bits such as honeycomb mesh grille, square bonnet, matte black cladding around the chin, faux skid plate and bold shoulder lines are likely to be retained. The Taigun concept shares most of its styling bits with the global-spec VW T-Cross SUV. However, the former sits on a longer wheelbase (2651mm) and have more cabin space to offer.
