In a bid to cash-in on the upcoming festive season, Volkswagen India has launched the special edition of its popular models – the Polo Exquisite and the Vento Highline Plus. Based on the Highline trims, both the editions will be available in petrol and diesel engine options.
Volkswagen Polo Exquisite Price (ex-showroom, Mumbai)
Petrol Model – Rs. 5.50 lakh
Diesel Model – Rs. 8.73 lakh

Petrol Model – Rs. 9.7 lakh

While the Polo Exquisite is available at the same price of the regular Highline variants, the Vento Highline Plus is Rs. 29,000 pricier than the standard variants. The company is also offering exchange benefits and loyalty bonus up to Rs. 10,000 on the former, and Rs. 20,000 on the latter one. Both the models have received significant styling updates, and additional comfort and connectivity features.

In terms of design, both the cars feature a black finish on the roof and body side and carbon fiber finish on the wing mirrors. The Polo Exquisite gets an additional chrome garnish on the trunk. The Vento Highline Plus comes with a Blaupunkt music system with navigation and SD card, while the Polo Exquisite gets signature logo on the seat covers. Both the editions receive cruise control, carbon fiber finish on the center console, scuff plates, exclusive textile floor mats and detachable window blinds.
Since both the vehicles are just special editions, no mechanical changes have made to the cars. Powering the Polo Exquisite is the same 1.2-litre MPI petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel engines that deliver 74bhp with 110Nm, and 88.8bhp with 230Nm respectively. Transmitting power to the front wheel is a 5-speed manual transmission. The Vento Highline Plus is powered by a 1.6-litre MPI petrol and a 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine that produce maximum power of 103.3bhp with 175Nm of torque, and 103.3bhp with 250Nm respectively.
