TVS Motor Company is getting ready to bring in a naked streetfighter motorcycle based on the Apache RR310 sportsbike, called the TVS Apache RTR 310. The model is likely to arrive in coming months and will compete against bikes like the Honda CB300R, BMW G 310 R, KTM 390 Duke and Bajaj Dominar 400. While the two-wheeler manufacturer remains tight lipped about its upcoming new bike, a set of its spy images has emerged on the web. That means, we grab a handful of interesting details. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from this new TVS bike.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Design, Features
Although it is based on the Apache RR310, the new naked streetfighter sports a distinct design language. Initially, it was believed to share its chassis with its faired sibling, but the spy images suggest otherwise. The bike features a completely new subframe, while the main frame remains hidden from view.
Other differentiating factors from its sibling include thinner front fork tubes. Additionally, the Apache RTR 310 showcases all-new LED lights, wheels, seat, and disc brakes. The test mule spotted in the images is painted in a dual-tone black and golden shade, and it features a race exhaust. The new TVS bike is expected to come equipped with a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Engine
At the heart of the new Apache RTR 310 will be the same 310cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor pushes out a peak power of 34bhp and a maximum torque of 28Nm. It is likely that these figures will remain the same for the new naked streetfighter variant.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Specs
Suspension setup is expected to include USD forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. It will have front and rear disc brakes along with the switchable dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The new TVS bike might also be offered with a quick-shifter and a traction control system.
