Tata Motors is on a roll. The home-grown carmaker has a range of new models in the pipeline, which are slated to hit roads in coming months. Recently, the company trademarked the Dark and Camo edition range of its existing products including Tiago hatchback, Tigor compact sedan, Altroz premium hatchback and the Gravitas 6/7-seater SUV. Talking about the Dark Edition, we have already seen it on the Tata Harrier that comes in Altas Black paint scheme with several blacked-out components.
One must note that there is no official word on the new Dark editions’ details and launch timeline. Though, a latest digital rendering previews a possible design of the upcoming Tata Altroz Dark Edition. Similar to the Harrier Dark Edition, the rendered Altroz Dark Edition has been painted in sporty black colour scheme. The headlamps with grey inserts, black roof, ORVMs and black finished faux skid plates further enhance its new look.
Unlike the regular variant that comes with dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, the Tata Altroz Dark Edition features black-finished units. The sporty black treatment continues at the rear section as well. Interior might also be inspired by the Harrier Dark Edition. The hatchback’s special model is likely to get an all-black interior theme with a new ‘Blackstone Matrix’ insert on the dashboard. Bits such as gunmetal grey finish, black leatherette seats and door insets and door handles with black leather finish might also be carried over from the Harrier Dark Edition.
The Tata Altroz Dark Edition is likely to be on the higher XZ and XZ (O) trims. If it happens, the hatchback’s new Dark edition will offer features such as climate control, ambient lighting, rain sensing wipers, rear AC vents, steering mounted controls, front and rear armrest and wearable key.
More details on the upcoming Tata Dark and Camo editions are likely to be revealed in near future. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
