Deliveries of the BS6 Tata Harrier Dark Edition have been commenced across the nation. The special edition comes in four variants – XZ, XZ+, XZA and XZA+ – powered by the BS6-complaint 170bhp, 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine. Its torque figure stands at 350Nm. The Harrier Dark Edition XZ and XZ+ manual variants are priced at Rs 17.70 lakh and Rs 18.95 lakh respectively. While the XZA diesel automatic costs Rs 19.00 lakh, the XZA+ automatic has been offered at Rs 20.25 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Painted in Altas Black colour, the BS6 Tata Harrier Dark Edition features several darkened bits such as grey headlamps inserts, black finished faux skid plates and black finished 17-inch alloy wheels. The special #Dark badge on the front fender further marks distinction to its sporty portfolio. The black theme continues inside the cabin. The door inserts and black leatherette seats have contrasting grey stitching. The door handles get a perforated black leather finish. The new ‘Blackstone Matrix’ insert on the dashboard has replaced the regular faux-wood inserts. The top-end XZA+ is exclusively offered with 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, auto dimming IRVM, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a panoramic sunroof.
