Maruti Baleno Cross YTB

The Maruti Baleno Cross (codenamed YTB) will be the brand’s first cross-hatch in the country. The model will make its debut at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo, followed by its market launch in February. It will be a Nexa offering that will challenge cars like Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Citroen C3. Reports suggest that the Baleno Cross will mark return of Maruti’s 1.0L Boosterjet turbo petrol engine that powered the Baleno RS. This time around, the motor will meet the BS6 emission norms. The motor could be benefited with the mild hybrid tech. Maruti’s new compact SUV could also be made available with the 1.2L Dualjet engine. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
