If you’re looking to buy a new Kia Carnival this festive season, there are massive discounts and benefits available on the luxury MPV. The company is offering total discounts of up to Rs 2.1 lakh that include an exchange bonus of up to Rs 80,000, corporate discount of up to Rs 46,000 and 3 years unlimited kilometers maintenance package worth Rs 48,000. Furthermore, the Prestige and Premium trims are available with an additional rear seat entertainment unit that costs Rs 36,560.
The carmaker has also introduced easy EMI Holiday Plan that allows buyers pay after 90 days of purchase. Customers can also choose to pay low EMI of Rs 767 per lakh for first 6 months or pay 50% lower EMIs for 3 months every year of loan tenure. The Kia Carnival has been doing really well for the South Korean carmaker in the country. Since its launch in January 2020, the company managed to sell 3,828 units of the luxury MPV.
The Carnival MPV lineup is spread across three trims – Premium, Prestige and Limousine – priced from Rs 24.95 lakh to s 33.95 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Buyers can choose from three seating configurations – 7-seats (standard), 8-seats (only with Premium trim) and 9-seats (only with Prestige trim). Compared to the Toyota Innova Crysta (diesel-automatic), the Carnival is significantly bigger, better equipped and more powerful.
The MPV derives its power from a BS6-compliant 2.2L, 4-cylinder diesel engine that’s good enough for 200bhp and 440Nm. It has an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for performing transmission duties. Kia claims that the Carnival returns fuel economy of 13.9kmpl.
Features such as Nappa leather seat upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, and second-row captain seats with extendable leg support are reserved for the top-end Limousine trim. The standard safety kit includes dual airbags, Isofix child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and camera.
