Ultraviolette F77 Electric Motorcycle Deliveries Begin

Deliveries for the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle have finally commenced in the country. The motorcycle was launched in our market in November, 2022. The motorcycle is available in 3 variants – F77 Recon, F77 (Original) and F77 Limited Edition – priced at Rs 4.55 lakh, Rs 3.80 lakh and Rs 5.50 lakh respectively.

The new Ultraviolette F77 is India’s first high-performance electric motorcycle, which is manufactured at the brand’s facility in Bengaluru. Currently, the deliveries are taking place directly from Ultraviolette’s manufacturing facility. The company has announced that it is establishing a network of dealerships nationwide.

Ultraviolette is also announcing plans to raise $120 million in a fresh round of investment. The funds will fuel the company’s global expansion plans and support its ongoing vehicle platform development efforts. Ultraviolette has raised over $55 million since inception, and the previous financing rounds have seen participation from leading investment companies including Europe’s EXOR Capital, US-based Qualcomm Ventures, TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies & Speciale Invest.

The Ultraviolette F77 limited edition is fitted with a 10.3kWh battery pack. The electric motor pushes out 40.5bhp and 100Nm of torque, and the battery is claimed to offer 307km of range (Indian Driving Cycle) on a single charge. It offers 3 ride modes – Glide, Combat & Ballistic. The motorcycle is claimed to achieve 0 to 60kmph in less than 3 seconds and 0 to 100kmph in 7.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 152kms.

Ultraviolette F77 Design

The F77 Recon’s electric motor pushes out 38.8bhp & 95Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-60kmph in 3.1 seconds and 0-100kmph in 8 seconds. It is claimed to offer a top speed of 147kmph. The F77 Original draws power from a 7.1kWh battery pack, and the usable power and torque stands at 36.2bhp and 85Nm respectively. It is claimed to offer a range of 206km and a top speed of 140kmph. It is claimed to achieve 0 to 60kmph acceleration and 0 to 100kmph acceleration in 3.4 seconds and 8.3 seconds respectively.
