TVS Motor Company had launched the Radeon 110 motorcycle in August 2018 and updated it to the meet the mandatory BS6 emission standards in April, 2020. Ever since its arrival, the bikemaker has sold 3 lakh units of the TVS Radeon commuter motorcycle in the country. In order to commemorate the new sales milestone, the company introduced two new colour schemes for the model lineup, namely, Chrome Purple and Regal Blue.
One must note that the Regal Blue shade can be had with base variant and Chrome Purple paint scheme is available with COTY special edition. Along with the two new colours, the Base variant and special edition variant come in a choice of 6 (Pearl White, Royal Purple, Metal Black, Golden Beige, Volcano Red and Titanium Grey) and 2 (Chrome Brown and Chrome Black) paint jobs respectively. At present, the 110cc commuter motorcycle from TVS is available at Rs 59,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Chennai-based bikemaker has also announced a new ‘Dhaakad’ campaign highlighting the Radeon’s “best-in-class features and Ecothrust fuel injection technology (ET-Fi)”. The company says that the TVS Radeon comes with 20 class-leading features including chrome bezel headlamp with DRL, stylish petrol tank with ribbed thigh pads, a car-like speedometer, solid suspension and more. With optimum seat height, high ground clearance and long wheel-base, the bike is claimed to offer seamless riding experience. For power, the TVS Radeon uses the BS6-compliant a 109.7cc engine that pushes out a maximum power of 8.08bhp at 7350rpm and a maximum torque of 8.7Nm at 4500rpm. The updated motor has been boosted with the new-generation Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology that improves its fuel efficiency by 15%. The system also enhances its engine performance and promises better durability and riding experience.
