TVS Motor Company has rolled out the Ntorq Race Edition in a new Yellow Black colour scheme. The new TVS Ntorq Yellow Race Edition has been priced similar to the Red and Black Race Edition i.e Rs 72,365. At present, the Ntorq Drum and Disc brake variants are available at Rs 67,885 and Rs 71,885 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Recently, the company has increased prices of the BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 scooter by Rs 1,000. It’s the second price hike for the BS6 model since its launch in February, 2020. Talking about the TVS Ntorq Yellow Race Edition, the new variant features body graphics with a chequered flag design in black and yellow shades. Similar to the Red and Black Race Edition, the new one carries the special ‘Race Edition’ emblem with ‘TVS Racing’ decals. Other interesting bits include the signature LED headlamp and LED daytime running lights.
No changes have been made to its engine. The new Race Edition uses the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine boosted with fuel injection technology. The motor returns a claimed power of 9.1bhp at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm. In fact, the list of features will remain unchanged. The scooter’s new variant comes with TVS’ SmartXonnect smartphone connectivity, a fully digital instrument console, a red colored hazard switch, an engine kill switch, an external fuel filler cap and LED lighting.
The home-grown two-wheeler recently increased prices of its Apache range including Apache 160, Apache 160 4V, Apache 180 and Apache 200 4V. After the price hike, the Apache 160 and 160 4V are available at Rs 98,050 and Rs 1.04 lakh respectively. While the Apache 180 now comes with a price tag of Rs 1.05 lakh, the Apache 2004V costs Rs 1.28 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
