Launched in December 2017, the TVS Apache RR 310 seems to picked up pace in the Indian two-wheeler market. According to a fresh media report, the fully-faired sportbike commands a waiting period from one month to four months across all major cities in the country. The reason behind the rising waiting period is said to be buyers’ colour choice.
TVS’s flagship bike, the Apache RR 310 is available in two colour schemes – Racing Black and Racing Red. Interestingly, there is high demand for the Racing Red model than the Black one. As per the report, the Mumbai and Kerala dealerships claimed a waiting period of two months and four months for both the models respectively. In Delhi, the Black and Red variants attracted waiting period of 1-2 months and three months respectively. A shortest waiting period of 15 days is noted in Assam.
The Chennai-based bikemaker recently revised price of the TVS Apache RR 310. Currently, the bike is available at Rs 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Produced at the TVS Motor Company at its Hosur facility, this new entry-level sportbike is based on the BMW G 310 R that will make its way to India this year.
Power source for the TVS Apache RR 310 is a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 34bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700rpm. The bike sits on steel trellis frame and rides on Michelin tyres.
