Powering the TVS Zeppelin will be a 220cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with a patented Integrated Starter Generator system. Though, the power and torque figures of the motor are still under the wraps. Interestingly, the Zeppelin is the first vehicle from TVS to feature 220cc, single-cylinder engine. What further enhances the performance of the new TVS cruiser is the e-boost function along with a 1200W regenerative assist motor packed with a 48V Li-ION battery. TVS Zeppelin Design
As mentioned above, the TVS Zeppelin is an aggressive-looking performance cruiser concept featuring vertically oriented rectangular LED headlamp. For the record, TVS claims that the bike offers comfortable riding position – thanks to its feet forward stance and the split seat. Features such as switchgear and a gold 41mm USD fork are carried over from the Apache RR 310. It also gets a flat handlebar and analog instrument cluster.
Riding the TVS Zeppelin cruiser are the Fat Pirelli tubeless tyres fitted on spoked rims. TVS offers the belt drive function that ensures silent ride and low maintenance. Additionally, the performance cruiser gets a ‘Smart Bio-Key’ feature, an HD action camera and online connectivity options. It also comes equipped with dual channel ABS (Anti-lock braking system). TVS Zeppelin Launch Date
The Chennai based bikemaker has recently showcased the all-new Zeppelin performance cruiser based on the Apache RR310. The unveiling took place at the Auto Expo 2018 in Greater Noida. There is no official word on its launch. Though, it is expected to take one and a half or two years to enter production.
TVS Zeppelin Price in India
If the Zeppelin concept makes to production, it will surely appeal buyers who are looking for a contemporary, feature-loaded yet affordable cruiser. TVS will position its new performance cruiser against the Suzuki Intrude and Bajaj Avenger 220. However, it will be quite early to comment on its pricing.
