Toyota Kirloskar Motors has confirmed that it will launch the Urban Cruiser sub-4 meter SUV on 2rd September, 2020. Based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Toyota Urban Cruiser can be pre-booking online or at any Toyota dealership by paying a token sum of Rs 11,000. The carmaker has announced that it will offer a free two year maintenance for customers who pre-book the subcompact SUV as a part of its ‘Respect Package’. The upcoming subcompact SUV from Toyota will be offered in three variants – Mid, High and Premium – packed with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine. It’s the same motor that does duty in the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The gasoline unit pushes out a peak power of 104bhp at 6,000rpm and 138Nm at 4,400rpm.

Features such as front LED fog lamps, diamond cut alloy wheels with centre cap, auto rain sensing wipers and day/night rear view mirror will be exclusively offered on the top-end trim. The standard kit will include a twin-slate wedge front grille with chrome and grey finish, LED package, steel wheel with full wheel cover, dual-tone interior, automatic AC unit, dark brown fabric seats in rain pattern, infotainment system with Bluetooth/USB/Aux-in connectivity and remote control, smart entry with engine push start/stop button, steering mounted control and more.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will come in a choice of 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour schemes. The dual-tone Groovy Orange with Sunny White roof and Rustic Brown with Sizzling Black roof paint schemes along with monotone Rustic Brown shade will be exclusively available on Toyota’s new small SUV. Similar to the Vitara Brezza, it will also come in Spunky Blue with Sizzling Black roof, Spunky Blue, Sunny White, Iconic Grey, Sauve Silver and Groovy Orange colour options.
