Toyota To Offer Innova Hycross G Variant To Fleet Operators

Toyota is all set to unveil the new Innova Hycross in the country in January 2023. This model will mainly target private buyers and won’t target fleet operators. Toyota has already confirmed that the Innova Crysta diesel will be re-introduced in our market and will mainly target fleet operators. However, a new media report claims that the new Innova Hycross will also be offered to fleet operators.

The new Toyota Innova Hycross will be offered in 5 trims – G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O). The report claims that the base-spec Innova Hycross G variant will be available to both private and fleet operators. The G trim is the entry-level variant, which comes with good and premium features. The base-spec variant comes equipped with features like auto LED headlamps, LED tail-lights with reflectors, push-button start/stop, powered ORVMs and adjustable rear headrests. Adding to it, the G trim is offered with seven and eight-seater options.

Toyota Innova Hycross Launch Date

For safety & security, the base Innova Hycross gets dual front airbags, vehicle stability control, parking sensors, and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages. The Innova Hycross G trim will be powered by a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 174PS and 205Nm of torque, and is paired to a CVT gearbox. Toyota Hycross will be sold alongside the Innova Crysta, which will return with some changes and diesel powertrain. It is expected to be offered with fleet operators. Toyota aims to produce around 2,000 Crysta MPVs per month from February 2023. The company could also make some design changes and feature upgrades to Innova Crysta.

The new Toyota Innova Hycross is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. The new model will sit between the Kia Carens and the Kia Carnival.
