Toyota Innova HyCross Rendered; Looks Like the Real Deal

Toyota Innova HyCross is one of the major new car unveilings of this year. The three-row MPV is all set to make its India on coming 25th November, while its prices will be announced at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2023. We have seen the model multiple times, but mostly in camouflage covering most of its design details. Recently, its patent image leaked on web confirming that the MPV will come with a sunroof for the very first time. A latest digital rendering based on the leaked patent image gives us a fair idea what all-new Innova could look like. Read – 2023 Toyota Fortuner To Get High-Tech Features, Hybrid Setup

Design language of the rendered Innova HyCross seems inspired by Toyota’s global SUVs. You can notice the newly-designed front grille with sporty black treatment, sleek headlamps, large air dams, and uniquely designed fog lamp assembly at the front end. The side body cladding, faux skid plates, black pillars, alloy wheels and chrome door handles enhance its side profile. It shares similarity with the global-spec Toyota Avanza and Veloz. What’s so interesting in the rendering is the rear design of the MPV. It appears flatter than the existing model and carries sharply designed taillamps and a revised bumper.

Ditching the ladder frame chassis, the 2023 Toyota Innova HyCross will underpin the new monocoque TNGA-C global platform. It will also come with FWD (front-wheel drive) system replacing the existing RWD (rear-wheel drive) setup. The MPV will also grow in size. The model will sit on 100mm longer wheelbase, thus ensuring more cabin space.

One of the major highlights of the new Innova HyCross will be the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It might also get ventilated front seats, a 360 degree camera, wireless phone charging and a larger touchscreen infotainment system. For power, the new Toyota Innova HyCross will use the 2.0L petrol engine with THS II hybrid tech including a battery pack and an electric motor.
