A fresh spy video confirms that the upcoming Toyota Innova HyCross will come with a panoramic sunroof. It covers the entire top surface, extending from the windscreen to the C-pillar of the MPV. One can also notice a new 3-spoke steering wheel, revised dashboard with glossy bits on the centre console and a larger floating touchscreen infotainment system. The info unit is likely to have better interface and touch response.
The MPV might also be offered with a 360 degree camera, ventilated front seats and wireless phone charging. Speculations are on rife that the 2023 Toyota Innova Hycross will be the brand’s first car in India to offer Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). It will come with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) that includes safety features such as automatic emergency brakes, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, dynamic radar cruise control and road sign assist.

Unlike the current-generation Innova Crysta, the new Innova HyCross will be designed on the new monocoque TNGA-C global platform and RWD (rear-wheel drive) system. The 2023 Toyota Innova won’t be available with diesel engine. The MPV will derive its power from a 2.0L petrol motor boosted with strong hybrid technology. The automaker is likely to use the localized version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System II) including a twin-motor setup for high fuel economy and ‘step-off’ torque. It will also come with the 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The 2023 Toyota Innova HyCross will make its India debut on 25th November, 2022. As far as concerned, it’s expected to cost between Rs 35 lakh – 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Official prices of the MPV will revealed at the Delhi Auto Expo in January, 2023. The automotive event will take place from 13th to 18th Jan in Greater Noida.
