Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 To Get 3 Variants – Details Out

The Chennai-based bikemaker has released yet another teaser of the upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 cruiser ahead of its global debut on 8th November 2022. The unveiling event will take place at the 2022 EICMA in Milan, Italy. The teaser has a mention of three names – Astral, Celestial and Interstellar – which are likely to be its variants. The bike’s variants are expected to come with different accessories and colour options as we have seen in the Meteor 350. Features such as tripper navigation system and a large, non-adjustable windscreen could be reserved for the top-end variant. The mid-spec model might get a pillion backrest as standard fitment. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will have retro styling with bits such as round headlamp and rear view mirrors, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and circular taillamp. The new RE 650cc cruiser is likely to come with silver finish alloy components (for the higher variant) and blacked-out treatment (for the lower variant) options.

The horseshoe-type mount for the front mudguard will be inspired by the front mudguard. The bike’s instrument console will have silver finish. It might borrow its switches, non-adjustable hand levers and front brake master cylinder with its 350cc sibling. Similar to the test mule, the final version of the new RE 650cc bike is likely to be assembled with 100-section CEAT Zoom Cruz front tyre. The company will provide a range of accessories with its upcoming 650cc cruiser bike.

Powering the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be the same 648cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine that does duty in the RE 650 twins. The motor, which is benefited with fuel injection technology, delivers a peak power of 47PS and 52Nm of torque. It will come with a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.
