Japanese automaker, Toyota has finally announced the prices of the much-awaited Innova Hycross 3-row MPV in the country. Toyota Innova Hycross Variant-Wise Prices
The new Hycross MPV petrol version is available in 2 trims – G-SLF and GX – in total of 4 variants. Both trims are offered in 7 and 8-seat layout. The petrol MPV is available in the price bracket of Rs 18.30 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Strong hybrid model is available in 3 trim levels – VX, ZX and ZX(O). The former is available in 7 and 8-seat layout. It is available at a starting price of Rs 24.01 lakh for base VX 7-seater and goes up to Rs 28.97 lakh for the top-spec ZX (O).
Toyota Innova Hycross Details
The new Hycross is available in a total of five trim levels – G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX(O). The crossover-MPV is offered in 7 exterior colour options – Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Avant-garde Bronze Metallic, Attitude Black Mica and Super White.
In terms of proportions, the new Hycross is 4755mm in length, 1845mm in width and 1785mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2850mm. The new model is 20mm longer and broader than the Innova Crysta. The new Hycross comes with Toyota Safety Sense suite of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). The ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert and pre-collision system. Other safety features include 6 airbags, traction control, electronic stability program and ABS with EBD.
The new Hycross comes with Ottoman function for the middle row seats, as this function is mostly available on premium MPVs including Kia Carnival & Toyota Alphard. In terms of features, the MPV gets 9-speaker BL audio system, ventilated front seats, connected car tech, ambient lighting, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, a large panoramic sunroof & a powered tailgate.
New Innova Specifications
The new Innova Hycross is developed on Toyota’s TNGA monocoque chassis with front wheel drive layout. Thanks to the monocoque chassis, the Hycross provide better handling & drive experience than the Innova Crysta which is designed on ladder-on-frame chassis with rear-wheel-drive setup.
The new Toyota MPV is available with two engine options – a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 2.0-litre petrol with Toyota’s self-charging strong hybrid tech. The non-hybrid version is capable of producing 172bhp of power and 205Nm of torque, and is paired to a CVT gearbox. The hybrid powertrain produces a combined power output of 186bhp and come with an e-Drive transmission.
The strong hybrid model is claimed to deliver an ARAI certified fuel economy of 21.1kmpl and offers a range of 1097km on a full fuel tank. It accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in 9.5 seconds.
