Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the new updated Innova and the Fortuner 4×4 Automatic variant in the Indian car market. The updated Innova MPV will be priced in the range of Rs. 10.51 lakh and Rs. 15.81 lakh, while the Fortuner 4×4 AT will be available in the price range of Rs. 24.17 lakh and Rs. 26.49 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The updated Innova gets newly designed seats and new touch-screen display. The third and second row seats can be folded, while the third row gets roof vents. The next model is claimed to return a decent mileage of 13.31 kmpl. Adding to it, the Innova gets dual SRS airbags as standard safety feature.
The Toyota Fortuner gets new top end variant, which is equipped with automatic gearbox driving the power to all-4 wheels of the SUV. It is propelled by a 3.0-litre diesel engine that is good for 171PS and 343Nm of peak torque. Speaking on the occasion of the launch Mr. N Raja, Director & Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing), Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. said; “The Innova and the Fortuner are two very successful products and both these vehicles are trend setters in the Indian automobile industry. Now with the Innova turning 10, it is indeed a proud moment for all of us at Toyota to have witnessed a successful journey for the past decade.”
The 2015 Toyota Innova is equipped with new front grille, dark grey dual tone alloy wheels, sporty moulding on the sides, rear chrome back door garnish and ORVMs with integrated blinkers. Inside, the updated Innova has wood finish steering wheel, new leather seats, Oak interior shade, wood finish on armrest panel, new audio system with touchscren display that comprises of DVD/CD, USB, AUX-in, Bluetooth functionality with a remote control, etc.
