Tata Tiago Turbo-Petrol Model Spotted For The First Time

Tata Motors is planning to expand its existing product portfolio with a range of new models in coming years. Besides this, the home-grown carmaker will also update its existing products including the Altroz premium hatchback and Harrier SUV. Both models will soon receive a new turbocharged petrol engine.

Recently, a test mule of the Tata Tiago with turbo-petrol was spotted testing by Bosh engineers in Bangalore. That means, the entry-level hatchback will also be a recipient of the new, more powerful petrol engine.

Visually, the Tata Tiago turbo petrol model looks similar to the hatchback’s facelifted version that was introduced early this year. Upfront, the hatchback received a new grille, revised bumper and air dam and slimmer headlamps underlined by Tata’s signature ‘Humanity Line’ in chrome. The fog lamp assembly has also been revised and positioned further up in the bumper. With a raised bonnet, the updated Tiago meet the new pedestrian safety norms. Other key changes include newly-designed rear bumper and  taillamp inserts.
