Tata Motors had launched the new monthly subscription plans for the Tata Nexon EV. Under the subscription plan, Customers can drive home the new Nexon EV by paying Rs 41,900 for next 36 months. The company has now significantly reduced the EMI/Subscription amount. According to the new subscription plan, the monthly rental for the Nexon EV has been reduced to Rs 34,900.
However, this offer is valid till November 30, 2020 and will be limited to the first 100 subscribers only. The monthly rental includes insurance coverage, 24×7 roadside assistance, free maintenance with periodic servicing and doorstep delivery. Discerning customers can select the tenure of their subscription from a minimum period of 18 months to 24 and 36 months. At the end of the tenure, customers can extend the subscription plan or return the vehicle.
Tata Motors will also install an EV charger at the home or office of the customer. The company has joined hands with Orix Auto to offer subscription packages to customers. This service is currently available in 4 major cities – Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, during the inaugural phase of the launch.
The Tata Nexon EV comes fitted with Ziptron EV technology that comprises of 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery powering a 129bhp, permanent magnet AC motor. This electric motor offers a peak torque of 245Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 9.9 seconds and offers an electric range of 313km on a single charge. The SUV also has fast charging capability, as the battery can be charged up to 80% in 1 hour by using a DC fast charger. The battery pack takes 8-9 hours to get fully charged via a standard 15A AC charger.
