Tata Motors has launched the Dark Edition of its popular cars including the Harrier, Altroz, Nexon and the Nexon EV. The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition is available at a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh. The electric compact SUV is offered in XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants.
The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition comes equipped with a puncture kit and tyre pressure monitoring system as standard. The electric SUV is wrapped in a Midnight Black exterior colour.
The SUV rides on 16-inch alloy wheels finished in Grey Charcoal. It gets Satin Black humanity line and beltline, and a Dark badge.
Inside the cabin, the Nexon EV Dark Edition gets premium dark theme leather upholstery with tri-arrow pattern on daoor trims. It gets leather-wrapped steering wheel with EV blue stitching and ‘Dark’ embroidery on front headrest.
It comes with an armrest with cup holders for the second row occupants, 60:40 split second row seat and adjustable headrest.
The SUV features a factory fitted electric sunroof with tilt function, a Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Tata ZConnect (powered by iRA) connected car tech with 35 features, etc.
The Nexon EV Dark Edition comes equipped with features like automatic headlamps, auto rain sensing wipers, rear AC vents, 7-inch TFT digital instrument console, climate control, & Passive entry passive start (PEPS).
The EV Dark Edition is equipped with a 30.2kWh Lithium-ion battery and permanent magnet synchronous magnet induction motor that churns out 125bhp of power and 245Nm of torque.
It is claimed to offer a certified range of 312km on a single charge. The battery pack takes 1 hour to get 80% charge via a DC fast charger and 8-9 hours to get full charge via a standard AC charger.
The 2021 Tata Nexon EV has recently gets an updated infotainment system and a new of newly-designed 5-spoke alloy wheels. The updated info unit supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with the ZConnect tech offering over 35 connected features.
