Tata Nexon Dark, Altroz Dark Edition – Booking Details, Launch Date

The home-grown carmaker is ready to roll out the Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Tata Altroz Dark Edition on 7th July 2021. The models have already started reaching dealerships. In fact, dealers are reportedly begun accepting bookings for the models. The Dark Editions are likely to be based on the top-end trims and are expected to be priced around Rs 20,000 premium over the standard variants. Tata Nexon Dark Edition

The compact SUV’s Dark Edition gets black finish on the front grille, lower bumpers and fog lamp housing. The blacked our alloy wheels and grey beltline garnish add more to its sporty looks. The all-black dashboard and darker shade seats and door pads distinguish from the regular model. On the feature front, the Nexon Dark edition will offer automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, an 8-speaker Harman audio system, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, premium leatherette seats, cooled glovebox, powered sunroof and multi-drive modes.

Upfront, the hatchback’s Dark Edition features blacked out grille and lower bumper. It gets special ‘Dark’ badging on the front fenders and the black finished ‘Altroz’ insignia as we have seen in the Harrier Dark edition. While the size of the alloy wheels remains unchanged, they get sporty gloss black finish. Inside, the Altroz Dark Edition offers blacked out leatherette seats and door pads and all black dashboard with gloss black finish on the centre bolster. Its feature list will include auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, steering mounted controls, wearable key, ambient lighting, climate control, front and rear armrest and rear AC vents.

Things under the hood will remain unchanged. The Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Tata Altroz Dark Edition will come with the 1.5L petrol and diesel and 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options.
