Tata Mocking Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki Cars On Poor Crash Test Ratings

Tata Motors seems aggressive with its product strategy, as it plans a wide range of new cars. The new breed of Tata cars are gaining good response, thanks to new design, better quality interior and excellent built-quality. In fact, Tata’s entry-level hatchback – the Tiago has received 4 stars in the Global NCAP crash test.

Adding to it, Tata’s Altroz hatchback and the Nexon compact SUV secured 5 star rating in the Global NCAP test. The company is not leaving any chance of taking a dig at their rival. Earlier this month, Tata released ads mocking the Hyundai Grand i10 and the Maruti S-Presso. Now, the company has released another image taking dig at the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R.

Tata Mocking S-Presso

While taking a dig at Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, Tata Motors released a photo that shows a broken coffee mug with coffee beans lying around. The image has a text saying “We don’t break that easy” along with Tiago’s 4-star global NCAP safety rating. For people not in the know, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso secured zero points for adult safety in Global NCAP crash tests. The bodyshell and footwell area of the car were rated as unstable.

For Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata shared an image with roman numerical 2 and 4. Tata Motors used the same font as Hyundai mentions the ‘i’ in their cars like i10 and i20. The ad shows that 2 is smaller than 4. With this advertisement, Tata is saying that Tiago has a better safety rating than the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The i10 Nios secured 2 star rating in the Global NCAP crash tests.
