In order to commemorate its top position in the SUV segment, Tata Motors today introduced the Kaziranga Editions of its popular SUVs including Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. The automaker says that the Tata Kaziranga Edition of SUVs is “inspired by India’s rich flora and fauna” and its tribute to India’s great national parks. The company has already announced its plan to auction the Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition to the IPL fanes and the winning bid will go for the efforts on Conversation of Wildlift in Kaziranga.

While the Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition costs Rs 8.58 lakh, the Tata Nexon Kaziranga Edition petrol and diesel model are priced from Rs 11.78 lakh and Rs 13.08 lakh respectively. Prices of the Tata Harrier Kaziranga Edition start from Rs 20.40 lakh and the Tata Safari Kaziranga Edition is being offered at a starting price of Rs 20.99 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
The new Tata Kaziranga Range has been painted in a special Grassland Beige colour scheme with a dual-tone roof in Piano Black finish. The models come with Earthy Beige leatherette upholstery and Tropical wood dashboard along with lots of beige colour inserts in the interior. The front headrests (also in 2nd row in Safari) have embossed outlined torso of two rhinoceroses facing each other and a new Satin Black Rhino mascot on the front fender.
