Tata Curvv SUV (Electric and Petrol) – Price Expectations

The Tata Curvv concept-based coupe SUV has undergone extensive testing on Indian roads, leading to frequent sightings of spy images and videos. Positioned for an early 2024 showroom debut, the model, despite its coupe SUV design, will compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Tata Motors has confirmed that the Curvv SUV will make its first appearance with an electric powertrain, followed subsequently by an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE)-powered version. While official specifications are yet to be disclosed, it is known that the Curvv SUV will introduce Tata’s new 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine, delivering an impressive 125PS and 225Nm. Speculation hints at the possibility of the new engine being paired with a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) borrowed from the Nexon. Additionally, there are murmurs about the potential introduction of a diesel variant.

Tata Curvv Launch Date

Built on Tata’s Gen2 platform, which will serve as the foundation for the brand’s future EVs, the Curvv EV will be positioned as a high-range SUV, offering a remarkable range of up to 500km on a single charge. While electric powertrain details are currently unavailable, the model is anticipated to feature advanced technology, including an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
