Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid World Champion Edition Released

Suzuki has introduced a limited edition of Swift Sport hybrid model to celebrate the seventh world title won by Suzuki in the premier class of the World Championship, thanks to Joan Mir, 2020 MotoGP Champion. The company has introduced only 7 limited edition of Swift Sport Hybrid. The special edition model is available at Euros 20,900, which translates to INR 18.44 lakh.

The new Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid World Champion Edition is available in an exclusive color scheme, which combines metallic blue with a silver roof and fluorescent yellow interior details, inspired by the Anniversary livery of the official Ecstar Team GSX-RR.

The Suzuki Swuft Sport Limited Edition comes with a sporty attire, which recalls the colors of the official Suzuki GSX-RR of Team Ecstar. This is inspired by the first Suzuki motorcycle that participated in a world race in 1960. The two-tone paint finish comprises of a metallic blue color with silver details, provided for the rear-view mirror caps and the roof, and contrasting black finish on the pillars and roofline. Adding to it, there are three racing strips with a contrasting color to the bodywork. On the bonnet there is the inscription Suzuki in “cutout”.

The Suzuki Swift Sport hybrid comes with a sporty diffuser plate with dual exhausts and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the Swift Sport limited edition gets accent mouldings on door panels, gearbox tunnel and central console. Attractive fluorescent yellow color is added to the dashboard and armrest. The car dashboard has limited edition unit number and autograph of Joan Mir, the rider who won the seventh world title for Suzuki.

Suzuki Swift MotoGP Edition Details

Powering the limited edition of the 2021 Suzuki Swift Sport hybrid is a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid setup. This engine is capable of producing 129bhp of power with extra 13bhp more from a small starter motor and generator. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is claimed to achieve a top speed of 210kmph.
