Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition In Photos – India Launch?

The Suzuki Jimny aka the mountain goat from the Land of the Rising Sun has been hugely popular across the globe. The SUV has recently lost its rear seats in Europe due to Euro 6 regulations and now classified as a light commercial vehicle. On the other hand, the 5-door version of the off-roader has recently been launched in the Indian market. The three-door Suzuki Jimny has received a new cool Jimny Rhino Edition treatment in Malaysia.

The Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition comes with cosmetic changes that gives it a distinct & quite appealing looks. The ‘Rhino’ name is associated with Suzuki’s off-road club, which comprises of the Jimnys & the previous Grand Vitara.

This edition comes with an old-school front grille with Suzuki lettering. The mesh-type grille is enclosed in a dark chrome panel that houses the retro-styled round shaped headlights. The revised front bumper now has new and rugged cladding.

There are exclusive body decals on the hood and on the side. The mudguards are finished in red, while a big decal is placed on the bottom half of the door. There’s an extra spice of claddings on the side, which makes it more capable for off-roading. The rear profile retains the original design, except for the ‘Rhino’ Logo and an identical covering for the spare wheel.

It is early to comment whether the new Rhino Edition will be offered on the India-spec 5-door Jimny. MSIL could introduce a similar limited edition of the Jimny in our market at a later stage. The Rhino Edition will be a collector’s version, as only 30 units will be offered with the treatment.
