Maruti Invicto Interior Revealed – What’s Different, What’s Not?

We finally got to see the interior of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto hybrid three-row MPV. While most of its features are similar to the Toyota Innova Hycross, a few changes have been made to distinguish it from its donor counterpart. Let’s take a look inside to find out what has changed and what has not.

What’s new?

The first difference to note is the interior theme. Unlike the Innova Hycross, which has a black and brown theme with silver elements on the center console, AC vents, and doors, the Maruti Invicto comes with an all-black theme with champagne accents. The steering wheel, which appears exactly similar to the Innova Hycross, features Suzuki’s logo in the center. The Invicto is likely to miss out on the ADAS tech – Toyota Safety Sense, and premium JBL audio system.

What remains the same?

The Maruti Invicto has the same multi-layered dashboard with horizontal lines. There is a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen with rectangular AC vents and HVAC controls. As we reported earlier, the new Maruti MPV will be available in Alpha Plus trim only. It will have goodies like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, memory function for the driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, 6 airbags, traction control, ABS with EBD, ESP, and more. Underpinning has also remained intact. The Maruti Invicto uses a monocoque chassis and Toyota’s TNGA-C platform. It will be offered with the strong hybrid powertrain only, which includes a 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol engine and Atkinson cycle. The setup, with an e-Drive transmission, offers a peak power of 184bhp.

The Maruti Invicto prices are slated to be announced on July 5th, 2023. The MPV is likely to be offered in two variants (with and without a sunroof), and the base variant is estimated to cost over Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
