Toyota Kirloskar Motor has showcased a fully accessorized version of the Glanza hatchback at the ongoing 2023 Auto Expo. The model receives a few enhancements over the regular model. Featuring dual-tone black and red treatment, the accessorized Toyota Glanza appears sportier than the standard model.
The red highlights in between the front grille, above the fog lamp assembly and on lower section of the front and rear bumpers, side profile and rear spoiler enhance its sportier appearance. It gets black treatment on the alloy wheels. Similar to the regular mode, the accessorized version carries the new Camry-esque grille and new headlamps with three-block DRLs.
Inside, the accessorized Toyota Glanza has seats with red and white strips and red highlights on the steering wheel and door handles. The top-end variant of the hatch comes equipped with features such as a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, ‘Toyota i-Connect’ connected car tech, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display (HUD), steering with tilt and telescopic adjustment, automatic climate control and 6 airbags.
Under the hood, the accessorized Toyota Glanza employs the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Dualjet K12N petrol engine. The motor churns out a peak power of 90hp and a maximum torque of 113Nm. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. Currently, the Toyota Glanza hatchback model lineup is available in four trims – E, S, G and V – priced between Rs 6.59 lakh – Rs 9.99 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
At the Auto Expo 2023, the Japanese automaker has also showcased the new Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 SUV and Toyota bZ4X compact SUV concept. The Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 will soon go on sale in the country. Powering the SUV is a 305bhp, 3.3L diesel engine paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. It’s capable to achieve 0 to 100kmph in 6.7 seconds.
