Skoda Kushaq Fuel Pump Problem Will Be Resolved Soon – Official

Launched In June 2021, the Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV has been garnering decent sales for the Czech automaker in the country. However, in recent times, several customers reported complain for multiple problems including warning light on Electronic Power Control (EPC) and loss of power. Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service & Marketing at Skoda Auto India, has assured that the problem related to the Kushaq’s fuel pump will soon be resolved. The faulty fuel pump of the affected models will be replaced free of cost at authorized service centers.

Customers of the affected units will be contacted individually as soon as dealerships get stocks of the new fuel pump. He also confirmed that the all-new dispatched units have “more robust fuel pumps”. However, the company hasn’t yet announced a recall. Recently, the automaker confirmed that the Skoda Kushaq received over 10,000 bookings so far. The SUV model lineup comes in three trims – Active, Ambition and Style – and two turbo petrol engines – 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI.
