Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied With Production Body Parts; New Details

It is no secret that Royal Enfield is working on multiple new motorcycles for the Indian market. The company is testing new 350cc and 650cc motorcycles, which will be launched in the next couple of years. Royal Enfield is doing final testing of its upcoming new 350cc Scrambler motorcycle, which is rumoured to be called the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 scrambler will be positioned against the newly launched Yezdi Scrambler and the Honda CB350 RS. In fact, Bajaj-Triumph joint venture is also testing a new scrambler. The new Hunter 350 has been spotted testing again, and the spied model looks close to production.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launch

The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be based on the brand’s new ‘J’ platform that also underpins the RE Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. This platform is claimed to provide improved straight line and cornering stability without compromising on comfort.

The spotted model has a single-piece eat, relaxed egononomics, retro-styled circular headlamps, tail-lights and blinkers, disc brakes, alloy wheels and grab handles for the rear passenger. The exhaust unit seem in the images are different from the one offered in the Meteor and the Classic 350. The vehicle also gets tripper navigation display, which we have already seen on the latest RE bikes.

RE Hunter 350 Spied

The new RE Hunter 350 will share the powertrain with the Meteor cruiser. It will be powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with OHC layout. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 20.2bhp and a peak torque of 27Nm. Power will be transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is likely to get 370mm front disc and 270mm rear disc along with a dual-channel ABS system as standard. It will get telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
