Is It Royal Enfield Hunter 350? – Launch & Key Details

Royal Enfield has been working multiple new models, which are slated to arrive in coming years. A couple of them have been caught on camera during their test rounds in the country. One of them is a new 350cc motorcycle that’s reported to be named Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Recently, the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker uploaded a new video on YouTube showing the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

The model, which has been under testing for last 2 years, is being prepared for the 90 South Expedition. The video talks about the modifications made to the bike. Interestingly, one can notice a new Royal Enfield bike (its rear section) standing behind the modified Himalayan. While we are not able to identify the model, rumour has it the bike could be the upcoming RE Hunter 350.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Design

The RE Hunter will be built on the ‘J’ platform that’s claimed to provide straight-line stability and cornering without compromising on comfort. The same architecture is used in the RE Meteor 350. The bike will carry retro-classic design elements such as a circular headlamp with chrome bezel, a short front mudguard, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and centrally positioned footpegs. It will also feature a single piece seat with a pillion backrest, flatter handlebar, fork gaiters, engine guard, a round taillamp, shorter front and rear fenders and an upswept exhaust. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Features

As of now, details of the upcoming RE 350cc bike are scanty. Though, the spy images reveal that it will have a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer. Similar to the Meteor, the Hunter 350 could be offered with the Tripper navigation.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Engine

For power, the new RE 350cc bike will the same engine that does duty in the RE Meteor 350. That means, it might come with the 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor with OHC layout. It pushes out a peak power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The bike will feature a 6-speed gearbox for performing transmission duties.
