Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied – Alloys, Tripper Nav., Meteor’s Engine

Royal Enfield has been working on number of new products, which are slated to launch in coming years. In fact, the Chennai-based bikemaker is planning to launch 3-4 new models by the end of 2021. The plan outlines the new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350, new 650cc cruiser and Meteor-based 350 motorcycle. Recently, the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was spotted testing in Tamil Nadu. While the test mule looks like a production-ready model, its official launch timeline is yet to be revealed.

The model carries retro-styled circular headlamp, teardrop fuel tank, a single piece seat, alloy wheels, circular taillamp with indicators and a short rear section. You can also notice the upward sweeping exhaust canister in black finish. Unlike the Meteor that comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, the RE Hunter 350 seems to be assembled with 17-inch front and rear wheels.

Royal Enfield Hunter Features

The test mule also features a twin-pod instrument console with Tipper Navigation system as we have seen in the Metero 350. The upcoming new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will have a single disc front and rear brake. It might get dual-channel ABS (antilock braking system) as standard. Its suspension setup will include telescopic upfront and twin shocks at the rear. Similar to the RE Meteor, the new Hunter 350 will be designed on the brand’s new J platform.

For power, the Royal Enfield Hunter will use the 349cc, air-cooled motor sourced from the RE Meteor 350. The fuel injected motor has been tuned for producing a peak power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The new engine is claimed to be more refined than the old 350cc motor. The company says its new 350cc unit has a balancer shaft that reduces vibrations to a great extent.

More details on the upcoming new RE Hunter 350 are likely to be revealed in near future. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
