Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 Ready For Launch – 12 Key Details

The next big launch from the Chennai-based bikemaker will be the new Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411, which is essentially the road-focused version of the Himalayan. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the model is reported to see a release in February 2022. Ahead of its official arrival, the bike was caught on camera during its TVC shoot in Goa. The company will make a few noticeable cosmetic changes to the Himalayan Scram 411 that will differentiate it from its off-road sibling.

Unlike the RE Himalayan that has been assembled with 21-inch front wheels, the road-focused Himalayan Scram 411 will have smaller 19-inch unit.

The spy images reveal that the bike could be offered with the blacked-out headlamp bezel and brushed metal finish on the headlamp options.

The rack will be replaced with small tank shrouds.

It will come with the standard pillion grab rail.

The turn indicators will be slightly repositioned.

The new model might miss out on some features such as raised front fender, jerry can holders, fork gaiters, visor and rack for luggage and panniers.

Design elements such as body panels, upswept exhaust and taillamp will be borrowed from the RE Himalayan.

Similar to the RE Meteor 350, the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 will have instrument panel with Tripper navigation system. Check Out – Royal Enfield SG650 Concept Explained In A Video

The bikemaker might introduce new colours on the road-focused version of the motorcycle.

For power, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 will use the 411cc, liquid-cooled SOHC engine with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. One must note that the off-roader Himalayan comes with the air-cooled motor that’s good enough for 24.3bhp and 32Nm.

Similar to its donor sibling, the Himalayan Scram 411 might feature 41mm telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension unit.

Braking power will come from the 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes. It might get the standard dual-channel ABS.
