Renault Kiger, the new French offering in the subcompact SUV space, has been observing a waiting period of up to 2 months (6 to 8 weeks). The dual-tone colour variants are high in demand. The compact SUV is available in 6 paint schemes – Planet Grey, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Grey, Caspian Blue, Mahogany Brown and Radiant Red. Buyers can choose Mystery Black roof with all monotone shades. The Radiant Red finish is reserved for the fully-loaded RxZ variant.
Engine setup of the new Renault compact SUV includes a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged unit. While the former is good for 72bhp and 96Nm of torque, the latter makes 100bhp and 160Nm of torque.

The top-end RxZ has been priced at Rs 7.55 lakh (for 72bhp MT variant) and Rs 9.55 (for 100bhp, CVT variant). It offers some exclusive features such as automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, PM2.5 air filter, leather wrapped steering with audio controls, 4-speakers and 4-tweeter Arkamys audio system, ambient light, cooled lower glove box, drive modes with configurable instrument display, power folding ORVMs, LED headlamps, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and rear defogger.
The company is offering five accessory packs with the Renault Kiger, namely, Essentials pack, Attractive pack, SUV pack, Smart pack and Smart+ pack. Based on the CMFA+ platform, the new Renault compact SUV measures 3,991mm in length, 1,750mm in width, 1,600mm in height and has a 2,500mm long wheelbase. It offers a ground clearance of 205mm and comes fitted 16-inch alloy wheels shod in 195/65 R16 size tyres.
