The Nissan Magnite compact SUV will be offered in 3 engine-gearbox options and in total of 20 variants.
Nissan India has started production of the much-awaited Magnite compact SUV at the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s Chennai based plant. The sub-4 meter SUV is scheduled to be launched in the next few days. Based on the CMF-A modular platform, the upcoming Nissan Magnite will be introduced as an affordable alternative to the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the Maruti Vitara Brezza.
It is reported that the new Magnite could be priced as low as Rs 5.25 lakh. Nissan has also released an extensive variant line-up of the upcoming Magnite sub-4 meter SUV. It will be offered in three trim levels – XE, XL and XV – and in total of 20 variants.
The upcoming Nissan Magnite compact SUV will be offered in 3 engine-gearbox combination – 1.0L B4D Petrol MT, 1.0L HRAO Petrol MT and 1.0L HRAO Petrol CVT. The 1.0L B4D Petrol manual version is available in 6 variants – XE, XL, XV, XV with Tech Pack, XV Premium and XV Premium with Tech Pack.

The 1.0L petrol CVT will also come in 7 variants – XL, XV, XV with Tech Pack, XV Premium, XV Premium with Tech Pack, XV Premium (O) and XV Premium (O) with Tech Pack.
Nissan Magnite Variant-Wise Features
– The Nissan Magnite XE base variant rides on 16-inch wheels. It features skid plates, 3.5-inch LCD cluster, all-power windows, roof rails and dual-tone interiors.
– The Magnite XL mid variant gets integrated audio system with 6 speakers, multi-functional steering wheel, automatic AC and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.
– The XV High variant has all the features available in the above mentioned variants. Adding to it, this variant gets 16-inch diamond cut alloys, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, 7-inch TFT instrument console, rear-view camera and push-button start.
– The Magnite XV Premium comes equipped with LED bi-projector headlamps, 360 degree around view monitor, cruise control, tire pressure monitor and sporty interiors.
– Nissan is also offering an optional ‘Tech Pack’, which offers features like wireless charger, air purifier, ambient mood lighting, puddle lamps and high-end speakers from JBL.
Magnite Colour Options
The the upcoming Magnite will be offered in total of 8 colours including 5 mono-tone options and 3 dual-tone colour options. The monotone colour options include Flare Garnet Red, Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown, Onyx Black and Storm White. On the other hand, the dual-tone colours include Pearl White with Onyx Black, Flare Garnet Red with Onyx Black and Vivid Black with Storm White.
Nissan Magnite Engine-Gearbox
The Nissan Magnite compact SUV will be offered with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine in naturally-aspirated and turbocharged versions. While the NA engine is estimated to offer around 72bhp and 96Nm, the turbocharged engine will produce close to 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices are likely to include a 5-speed MT (Naturally-Aspirated Petrol), a 6-speed MT and a X-Tronic CVT (1.0L Turbo-Petrol).
