Honda Cars India recently rolled out special editions of the Amaze compact sedan and Honda WR-V compact SUV. Prices of the Honda Amaze Exclusive Edition start from Rs 7.96 lakh (petrol) and go up to Rs 9.99 lakh (diesel). The Honda WR-V Exclusive Edition, on the other hand, has been priced from 9.69 lakh (petrol) to Rs 10.99 lakh (diesel). All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Based on the top-end VX grade, the special editions have been offered with both petrol and diesel engines. Customers can purchase the new Exclusive Editions of the Amaze and WR-V via Honda’s online sales platform “Honda from Home” or from any authorized Honda dealership across the nation. One must note that the new special editions come with an enhanced premium packaged available in all colour schemes.
On the exterior, the Honda Amaze Exclusive Edition features attractive chrome garnish at the fog lamp and trunk, new window chrome moulding and Exclusive Edition emblem. Talking about the Honda WR-V Exclusive Edition, the special model carries a chrome garnished grille and fog lamp, Exclusive edition body graphics and emblem. Similar to the Amaze, the special edition of the WR-V features premium Suede seat cover and step illumination and front foot light.
As mentioned above, the new Exclusive Editions come in petrol and diesel iterations. The petrol model uses a 1.2L i-VTEC engine that’s good enough for 100bhp and 200Nm. The diesel version comes powered by a 1.5L motor pushing out power worth 80bhp and 160Nm of torque. While the Amaze can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission, the WR-V is available with 6-speed manual (diesel) and 5-speed manual (petrol) gearbox options.
