If reports are to be believed, the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker is working on two new bikes that will be based on the TVS Apache RR 310. For power, the new motorcycles will use the 312.2cc, single-cylinder reverse-inclined liquid-cooled engine. The motor makes a top power of 34PS and 27.3Nm of torque. There will be dual-channel ABS (antilock braking system) as standard fitment. The company is also working on a new adventure bike to compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Furthermore, TVS will mark its entry into the 600cc-750cc motorcycle segment in near future. Reports suggest that a new TVS bike with bigger capacity, twin-cylinder engine is under development. The model will return power around 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. It could be developed jointly by TVS and UK-based Norton Motorcycle Company.

The new TVS 650cc bike, which will challenge the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, will be the most expensive offering from the company. Rumour has it that the Chennai-based bikemaker might also introduce the Ronin based Scrambler motorcycle in coming years. Recently, it showcased the factory-custom TVS Ronin SCR (Scrambler) at the latest edition of TVS MotoSoul.
