To mark 40 million sales, TVS Motor Company has launched the new Apache RTR 200 4V. The new model comes with a new matte Blue colour option. It comes with new segment-first features and technology upgrades.
New Apache RTR 200 4V Changes
The new RTR 200 4V is available with first in segment 3-riding modes – Rain, Urban and Track. This dedicated ride mode selector and customer can switch between the three riding modes on the Go. This is the same feature that we have already seen on the Apache RR310. User can switch between these modes, and the power delivery changes according to the selected mode.
Adding to it, the new Apache RTR 200 4V comes with segment-first adjustable front suspension unit. The suspension unit is sourced from SHOWA. The Race tuned suspension comes with preload adjustment and is tuned for plush ride or track ride. This further enhances the overall riding comfort.
The motorcycle also gets adjustable brake and clutch levers. The bike also gets the segment-first low-speed riding mode called GTT (Glide Through Technology). This tech is claimed to provide controlled and smooth riding experience.
RTR 200 4V Engine Specs
The new Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a BSVI compliant 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine produces 20.5PS of power and 16.80Nm of torque. The motorcycle also gets Gear Shift assist, which is basically the ride mode based intelligent up and down shift assist indication for best performance.
The motorcycle comes equipped with race tuned fuel injection, race tuned slipper clutch, Bluetooth enabled TVS SmartXConnect, GTT (Glide Through Technology), dual channel and Super Moto Single Channel ABS, high performance rear radial tyres and LED-Tech headlamp. It is the only motorcycle in its segment to offer dual-channel ABS with RLP (Rear Wheel Lift-Off Protection) control and RT-Slipper Clutch. Adding to it, the bike gets radial rear tyre for enhanced stability and ride quality.
