New Toyota Innova TRD Sportivo Variant Leaked in Indonesia

We informed you earlier that Toyota is readying the Innova facelift, which is expected to make debut in global markets by the end of this year. It seems like the new model could be unveiled in the next couple of months, as Toyota Indonesia has started exhausting the current Innova stocks.In order to clear stocks, Toyota will introduce a new variant of the Innova. Called the Innova TRD Sportivo, the new model has been spotted in Indonesia.

The pictures reveal that the MPV gets TRD body kit, which is different from the Innova Venturer. This model has minimal chrome at the front with body kit in the same colour as the body with black accents.

The side profile has new black alloy wheels, which seems identical to the one offered in the Venturer. The Toyota Innova TRD Sportivo comes with side skirt and TRD Sportivo sticker. The side sticker seems identical to the one offered in the Toyota Rush. At the back, the lower part of the bumper is fitted with a body kit. There is a rear spoiler and TRD Sportivo emblem.

The introduction of the Innova TRD Sportivo is aimed at exhausting the stock of the Innova G and V variants. The report further claims that the new model will be offered in diesel version only. The company will introduce the Innova facelift in the Indonesian market by the end of this year. It is expected that the new model could be unveiled in the next couple of years.

In India, Toyota will introduce the Urban Cruiser sub-4 meter SUV in the next couple of months. The company has also started testing the new Fortuner facelift, which has already been launched in select ASEAN markets. Toyota is likely to introduce the Innova facelift in India in early 2021.
