New Toyota Glanza 1st Official Teaser Released; Launch On 15th March

Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the new Baleno hatchback, which has already bagged over 25,000 bookings. Now, Toyota is ready to launch the new version of the Glanza hatchback. The new Toyota Glanza has recently been spotted testing without any camouflage. It is likely to receive Baleno-like changes in terms of styling and interior packaging. The new Toyota Glanza is scheduled to be launched on March 15, 2022.

The company has now released the first teaser video of the new Glanza. The new teaser reveals the touchscreen infotainment system, highlighting the voice assistant feature. The new Toyota Glanza will receive the same 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, which is offered in new Baleno. The new infotainment system is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, navigation and voice commands.

The lower-spec variants are likely to get the 7-inch SmartPlay infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The hatchback will get a semi-digital instrument console, new switchgears for AC control, rear AC vents and others. It is expected to be packed with heads-up display, a 360 degree camera, six airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), cruise control, new multi-functional steering wheel and others.

While most of the design and interior changes will be in-line with new Baleno, the new Toyota Glanza also gets few additional changes. The vehicle will share the rear bumper, fenders and tailgate with the Baleno. However, it will have different alloys and new inserts for the tail-lights. The hatchback will get different front design compared to the new Baleno. It features new front bumper, a different grille design and new headlamps with different DRL (Daytime Running Light).

Similar to the new Baleno, the new Toyota Glanza will be powered by a 1.2-litre dual-jet petrol engine that churns out 89bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).
