New Tata Harrier 2023 First Teaser Out – Launch Very Soon

Likely to be launched during Navratri Season, the new Tata Harrier 2023 will come with Nexon EV inspired front fascia and an all-new interior.

Tata Motors has released the first official teaser of the upcoming Harrier facelift, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. Not just new Harrier, the company has also announced the new Safari. Interested customers will be able to book the new Tata Harrier 2023 and the Safari facelift online or at authorised dealerships from October 6, 2023.

Previous reports suggest that select Tata dealers have already started accepting pre-bookings for the new Harrier. This will be the first midlife update for the Harrier facelift, which has been on sale in our market since January 2019. The first teaser reveals the design direction for the new Tata Harrier. The front fascia of the new Harrier is heavily revised and is inspired from the new Nexon EV.

The SUV will get a full-width LED daytime running light bar with welcoming function, which is placed right above the grille. The SUV retains the split headlamp setup with new LED headlights mounted in triangular housings on the lower bumper. The side profile is expected to remain the same, except for the new alloy wheels. The rear is also expected to receive a new tailgate, featuring connected LED tail-lamps and new bumper.

The new Tata Harrier 2023 will receive major changes, which is evident from the spy shots. The SUV has a new dashboard layout that has more cleaner and horizontal lines. It will come with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and a 10.25-inch full digital driver’s display.

Inside the cabin, the new Tata Harrier will come with a new four-spoke steering wheel with the gloss black panel and an illuminated Tata logo. Similar to the new Nexon, the new Harrier will receive a touch-based climate controls. The gear lever for the automatic variants will be shared with the Nexon, which is inspired from Land Rover cars.

The 2023 Tata Harrier will retain the existing 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 173PS and 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. It is also expected to receive a new 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine that debuted at Auto Expo 2023. The engine could be mated with a manual as well as a DCT.
