The new generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 was scheduled to be launched on August 27, 2021. However, the launch has been delayed by few days. The prices of the new RE Classic 350 will now be released on September 1, 2021.

The new Classic 350 has already been spotted numerous times, and most of the details have already been out. The new RE Classic 350 will be based on the new double cradle chassis, which also underpins the new Meteor 350 cruiser. Called the “J” architecture, the new platform will be used to develop Royal Enfield’s future 350cc motorcycles. The company claims that this twin downtube frame improves the overall ride quality and characteristics of the Meteor 350 cruiser.

It will be powered by a 349cc, fuel injected engine that churns out a maximum power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. This engine will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The higher variant will get disc brakes with dual-channel ABS as standard. The entry-level variant could feature disc at the front and drum at the rear. It will ride on 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel. The top-spec Signals Edition will get alloy wheels.

The new Classic 350 will also receive a new instrument console with a separate digital readout with fuel gauge. It will also get the Tripper Navigation system, which is developed by Royal Enfield in association with Google. The motorcycle will retain the original Classic design with retro-styled circular headlamps with chrome bezels, chrome-plated exhaust, round-shaped rearview mirrors, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and prominent front and rear fenders. The motorcycle will get new tail-lamp and indicators, and new seat with better cushioning.
