The much-anticipated new Hyundai Verna 2023 will be launched in our market on March 21, 2023. Interested buyers can book the new sedan online or at authorised Hyundai dealerships by paying an amount of Rs 25,000. Ahead of the official launch, Hyundai has released a new set of images of the new-gen Verna sedan. The new teasers reveal the interior details and key features on offer in the midsize sedan.
10.25-inch Infotainment Screen
The newest teasers confirm that the new Hyundai Verna will come with a dual-display – one for the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the other one for the digital driver’s display.
Bose Sound System
The sedan will come with a digital instrument console, which shows multiple features in different colour options. The teasers also confirm that the new Verna will come with the segment-leading 8-speaker sound system by Bose.
Touch-based climate control panel
The new Hyundai Verna comes with the new touch-based climate control panel that also has physical buttons on either side for the infotainment controls. The central console design seems inspired from the one found in the Kia EV6.
Segment-first Heated Seats
The new-gen Verna sedan will continue to offer the ventilated front seats. However, it now became the first in its segment to offer heated seats.
ADAS & More Safety
The new Verna is most likely to come with six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, ABS with EBD as standard safety features. Teasers have also confirmed that the new Hyundai Verna will come with a host of advanced driver assistance features. The ADAS features will be similar to the one offered in the Tucson SUV. It will offer features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, collision avoidance system and others.
Powertrain Options
The new-gen Verna will be offered with two petrol engines – a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated and a 1.5-litre turbo. The naturally-aspirated unit is good for 113bhp and 114Nm, and can be had with either 6-speed manual or an iVT gearbox. The turbo engine produces 160bhp of power and 253Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
