The sixth-generation Hyundai Verna recently launched in India within the price range of Rs 10.90 lakh – Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the sedan will begin in the first week of April 2023. It’s being made available in four trims (EX, S, SX and SX (O)) and two petrol engines – 1.5L naturally aspirated (115bhp/144Nm) and 1.5L turbo (160bhp/253Nm). While the former motor can be had with the manual and CVT automatic gearboxes, the latter comes with the manual and DCT automatic transmission options.
The new Hyundai Verna turbo-petrol is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 20kmpl and 20.6kmpl for the manual and DCT gearbox respectively. The naturally aspirated petrol motor returns a mileage of 18.6kmpl (manual) and 19.6kmpl (iVT). The turbo-petrol variants are exclusively available in two dual-tone colours – Atlas White with Black roof and Fiery Red with Black roof. The monotone paint schemes including Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Altas White, Starry Night, Abyss Black and Titan Grey.
