Hero MotoCorp has teased a new motorcycle on social media, which reveal the headlamp and front profile. The teaser says that “Stealth Mode, coming soon” and “Go Boom in Stealth Mode. It is most likely to be the new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition, which has recently been leaked on the Internet.
The teaser reveals a human face with a pair of prominent eyes finished in white, which turns into the two LED pilot lights flanking the main headlight. The LED headlamp and front design looks identical to the Xtreme 160R. The vehicle has a dark matte colour option, which is visible on the shoulder of the fuel tank.
The new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is likely to receive updated badging along with new feature updates. It is expected to get Bluetooth connectivity, which will offer features like SMS alerts along with turn-by-turn navigation. The new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is not likely to receive any significant mechanical changes. It is likely to be powered by the same 163cc, single-cylinder two-valve engine that powers the standard model. This engine is capable of producing 15bhp of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,500rpm. ‘
The motorcycle weighs 139.5kgs, which allows the Xtreme 160R to offer one of the strongest power to weight ratios. It is claimed to achieve 0-60kmph in just 4.7 seconds. The motorcycle is also likely to offer a kick-starter in addition to a standard starter motor.
