Hero MotoCorp has rolled out the updated XPulse 200 with 4-valve engine and a few new features. Priced at Rs 1,28,150 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2021 Hero XPulse 200 4V takes on the Honda CB200X that costs Rs 1.44 lakh.
Compared to the old 2V version, the new 4V model is claimed to offer better performance along with 6% extra power and 5% more torque. The bike comes powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 4-valve setup.
The updated motor returns a claimed power of 19.1PS at 8500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The 4-valve system ensures more efficient fuel combustion and reduces emission. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. Read – Hero Electric Scooter Launch Details Out
The new Hero XPulse 200 4V comes in a choice of three new colour options – Red Raid, Blitz Blue and Trail Blue – along with the regular Panther Black, Sports Red, Mate Grey, Matte Green and White shades.
The 2021 Hero XPulse 200 4V has been equipped with the new LED headlamps and better seat profile. The metallic finish on the engine further distinguishes it from the current model.
No other changes have been made to the new XPluse 200 4V. It continues to feature the spear-shaped turn indicators, sculpted fuel tank, knuckle guards, raised front fender, engine guard, decent sized windscreen and upswept exhaust.
Based on the tubular diamond frame, the new Hero XPulse 200 4V has telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension setup. It sources its stopping power from the 276mm front and 220mm rear petal disc brakes. The bike continues to offer single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard feature. The new XPulse rides on the dual purpose 90//90-21 front and 120/80-18 rear tyres. The 4-valve setup can also be had with the Rally version.
