New Harley Davidson Bike With 1250cc Engine To Debut On 13th July

Harley-Davidson has released a teaser of its upcoming new motorcycle that’s slated to unveil on 13th July 2021. The teaser shows silhouette of the model with a caption “From Evolution to Revolution”. While the company hasn’t yet revealed the name and details of the new bike, it’s likely to be the Harley Davidson Custom 1250. After the Pan American 1250, it will be the second product to be brought under Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp partnership.

The bikemaker has confirmed that the upcoming Harley Davidson motorcycle will be based on the Revolution Max platform that also underpins the Pan America 1250. The new bike is claimed to offer “unmatched Harley-Davidson technology, performance and style”.

For power, the Harley Davidson Custom 1250 will use the same 1250cc liquid-cooled V-twin unit that does duty in the Pan America 1250. While the adventure bike delivers a claimed power of 152.2PS at 9,000rpm and 127Nm of torque at 6,750rpm, the motor could be tuned for the Custom 1250. Its suspension and braking system will also carried forward from the Pan America. It will come equipped with an inverted front fork and monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike will derive its stopping power from the front and rear disc brakes with Brembo calipers. Read – Hero-Harley to Jointly Develop 500cc Bike to Challenge Royal Enfield
